This VW Golf R-Line (Mk8) performance exhaust is made in 2.5″/63.5mm pipework and fits from the GPF section (Gasoline-Particulate Filter) backwards (GPF-back), replacing the centre and rear sections.
This exhaust removes the rear silencer box for the ultimate improvement in terms of exhaust tone and sound level whilst keeping the stock catalyst and GPF in place.

Sound – Engine at Idle: 65dB (+9dB) – Static 3,800rpm test: 84.2dB (+11dB).

This performance exhaust is designed to fit vehicles with the addition of the Maxton Design Rear Valance V.2 VW Golf 8 GTI (Please click hereto view this product, Maxton Design part code: VW-GO-8-GTI-RS2G).

Only compatible with models fitted with independent rear suspension – Not torsion bar – Please contact us if you are unsure.
